Warning!! - This page is somewhat graphic intensive, so it may
take a while to load.
Youkoso minna-san! You have arrived at the Honorable Mention portion of my Harem. This page houses the guys that I deemed worthy of mention, though I don't exactly lust after them. This section was initially on the main Harem page, but I decided to move it here to decrease the loading time of the page. I've included pictures and quotes of my favorites, and of course, just why I love them! I've listed them in alphabetical order by last name, if they have one.
Current Honorable Mention Count: 10
Aida Kensuke ~ Neon Genesis Evangelion
Background
Kensuke is one of the few children to remain in Tokyo-3 after the Angel attacks resumed. Thrilled with the prospect of seeing a real war, he hangs out with Shinji, camera usually in hand.
Mentally...
Kensuke has a childlike enthusiasm that I find rather charming...he's always so happy to rush off to watch a battle ^_^
Physically...
Yes, I know, 14 is rather young to be lusting after...but I don't really think of Kensuke that way...he's just adorable! That short brown hair, those glasses...that face ^_^ He actually reminds me slightly of one of my fanfic characters....maybe that's why I'm attached to him ^_^
Vocally...
I prefer his Japanese voice to his English dub one.

Legato Bluesummers ~ Trigun
Background
Legato is the leader of the Gung-Ho Guns, second only to Knives.
Mentally...
*Spoilers* Legato is very determined. He works toward his goals (to torture Vash, and to eliminate humanity) with such single-mindedness. He will kill without remorse, making him often seem very cold. He is also completely loyal to Knives. He had his own arm cut off, so that he could "wear" Vash's, because Knives wanted him to...He would even kill himself if Knives told him to. In his quiet seriousness, and his unswerving determination to accomplish his goals, he somewhat reminds me of Aoshi. *Nods* Legato is hereby the "Official Trigun-Incarnation of Aoshi"! *G*
Physically...
He even looks like Aoshi! Gorgeous blue-gray hair, unreadable face, and that trenchcoat!
Vocally...
I actually liked both of his voices about equally.
Quotes
"Your reaction was better than I had hoped. You're fun."
"And to think that I could kill every man, woman and child in the blink of an eye if
I wanted to.The power of death is intoxicating."
"It's a little going away gift. It contains a lesson from me. I'll just leave it
here."
"I plan on obliterating all of mankind down to the very last speck of dust. Why is it
you insist on meeting your fate sooner?"
"It really is a shame what happened. But at least now you know just how much pain
there is in living."
That's unusual for me. I don't usually waste my time on vermin. It must be the way you
look, Vash the Stampede. Your very existence seems to cause me undue irritation."
"This is not an act of mercy. This is to teach you the pain of living."
"It's a simple formula- The greater the tragedy, the greater the emotional
effect."
Honjou Kamatari ~ Rurouni Kenshin
Background
Kamatari is one of Shishio Makoto's Juppongatana. Called the 'Great Scythe', Kamatari's weapon of choice is an ultra-heavy chain-scythe.
Mentally...
At first, I'll admit, I saw Kamatari as kind of odd...I didn't dislike him, I just thought he was unique. As he got a little more screen time, however, I saw that he was more than just a cross-dresser. He just wanted to be noticed. Most of all, he wanted to be loved by the only man that mattered to him. Hearing him talk about how he couldn't be the best man (that would be Soujiro) or best woman (that would be Yumi) for Shishio was kind of sad, actually. He really wasn't a bad guy...he just wanted to do whatever he had to do to earn Shishio's love...I think that's sweet ^_^
Physically...
Given Kamatari's very feminine looks, it's hard to really name anything...he does look like a rather pretty girl, though ^.^ Besides, he's not here because of looks...he's here because of his character.
Vocally...
*Shrugs* His voice was good, but nothing that really caught my attention.
Quotes
"I'm caught in the middle. I can't be the best man nor the best woman for Shishio-sama. Therefore, I perfectly execute any order given me, by putting all of my love into it...helping Shishio-sama is everything to me! I will not budge from this spot!" -- Kamatari to Misao and Kaoru (Japanese)
Icarus ~ Hercules TV Series
Background
Icarus learned to fly using wings made of wax. One day, he flew too close to the sun. His wings melted and he fell to the ground below.
Mentally...
Icarus is such a goofy character. Yes, he's slightly nutsy, but who isn't? He's silly, full of energy, weird, charming, and totally lovable. To be honest, he reminds me a lot of my first boyfriend (who is now my best friend ^^;;) Also, because dating Icarus would be like dating said former-boyfriend; a short, screwy guy with a much taller, more serious girl.
Physically...
Yeah, he's short, with corky hair and a freaky right eye...Cool, isn't he? ^^

Ikari Shinji ~ Neon Genesis Evangelion
Background
Shinji is the Third Child and the designated pilot of EVA Unit 01. Like all the chosen Children, Shinji is 14 years old and was born around the time of the Second Impact. He lost his mother when he was very young, and is abandoned by his father shortly after this. He was raised by his teachers, until 2015, when his father calls him to Tokyo-3 He then learns of the EVAs and subsequently becomes a pilot.
Mentally...
Shinji is another of those underdog-type characters that I tend to attach to. Granted, he has some emotional problems, but given his past, can you blame the poor kid? I think he's actually rather strong, because despite his problems, he still often ends up fighting to save the populace. For some reason, almost everyone I've talked to about it seems to hate Shinji; they think he's a wimp, etc. I can't help it...I just don't see that. Shinji's very human, with many real-life problems...I just can't see hating that.
Physically...
Yes, I know, 14 is rather young to be lusting after...but I don't really think of Shinji that way...he's here for his character, anyway. Though, for a 14 year old, he's not bad looking.
Vocally...
Hands down, I prefer Shinji's seiyuu to his VA. Megumi Ogata is just awesome ^_^

Kagura Nakahito ~ Koutetsu Tenshi Kurumi
Background
Nakahito is the younger brother of Kamihito, who is training him in the Onmyou ways.
Mentally...
I'm not entirely sure why I like Nakahito...Maybe because he's so shy, and defenseless...The scene where he runs to his brother and latches onto him, saying how scared he had been was sooooo kawaii!
Physically...
I'm probably robbing the cradle with this one...Actually, I'm not sure exactly how old Nakahito is ^^;; I love his hair, both the color and the style. He wears traditional Japanese clothing and has those gorgeous blue eyes! Kawaii!

Little Creek ~ Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Background
Little Creek is a young Lakota Indian. During the movie, he is captured by the cavalry. It is here that he first meets Spirit.
Mentally...
Being the first non-anime guy to make it into my Harem, you know that Little Creek must have something special about him ^_^ He's very strong, and compassionate...plus, he knows how to treat a horse ^_^ Seriously, though, I've always agreed with the beliefs of the Native Americans when it comes to nature and animals, so it's no surprise that I like Little Creek. What can I say...the horse-lover in me just kinda latched onto him ^_^
Physically...
Little Creek has a very nice face ^_^ That smile, that hair...*G* I'm quite content.
Vocally...
What can I say...Daniel Studi provides a perfect voice for this character ^_^
Quotes
"You'll always be in my heart,
Spirit-Who-Could-Not-Be-Broken..." -- Little Creek to Spirit
Myojin Yahiko ~ Rurouni Kenshin
Background
Yahiko is the son of a Tokyo samurai who died as a member of the Shogi-Tai. His mother also died when he was young, from sickness. After her death, Yahiko was left indebted to a group of yazuka who had supposedly helped pay for his mother's medical expenses. In order to repay his debt, he is forced to pick pockets for money. After trying to pick the wrong pocket, he met up with Himura Kenshin and Kamiya Kaoru. After they rescued him from the yazuka that was controlling him, he joined them as a member of the Kamiya Dojo, and has been with them ever since.
Mentally...
He may be only ten years old, but Yahiko is very strong and full of spirit. He learns fast, and he matured a lot when Kenshin was called to Kyoto to deal with Shishio. Yahiko is one character that you can actually see growing and maturing. He changed from the arrogant, slightly bratty boy he was at the beginning of the series to a reliable, determined young man, who is able to use his sword to defend his friends and himself. He continues this growth during the Jinchuu Arc, as well, eventually mastering the succession technique for the Kamiya Kasshin Ryu
Physically...
I know, I'm robbing the cradle with this one...He's only 10 years old....But this is why he has been granted an Honorable Mention, as opposed to a full-fledged membership in my Harem. Since he's so young, and because he's here due to his personality and depth of character, it's really impossible to list any desirable physical qualities. (He is only 10 years old, after all!) Although, I've seen a couple of pictures of him in which he looks older, and I can say he's not bad looking ^_^
Vocally...
It's hard to say, since he sounds as young as he is ^_^
Quotes
"I'll risk my life to get her back! If I can't do that, what's the use of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryu...a sword to protect others?!" -- Yahiko about Megumi (Japanese)
"Quasi-Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu...What I learned by watching! Ryu Tsui Sen!" -- Yahiko to Henya (Japanese)
Schmendrick ~ The Last Unicorn
Background
Schmendrick is the magician in The Last Unicorn. He follows the Unicorn throughout her quest.
Mentally...
From my earliest memories, I was obsessed with unicorns
in my youth. So, it's no wonder that The Last Unicorn was one of my very
favorite movies. I always liked Schmendrick...He's the ultimate
gentleman/sage/bumbling magician ^_^ I really love his genuine ingenuity and
determination in the face of incredible odds. Not to mention, his quirky sense of humor.
Physically...
Schmendrick is actually kinda cute, if in a slightly goofy way. Most people are quick to point out his slim figure or his large nose, but that really doesn't matter...He's so cute when he smiles ^_^
Vocally...
I really liked his voice...plus he had a lot of great lines ^_^
Quotes
"Be rary of wousing a rizard's wrath - rousing a rizard's - Be wary of making a magician angry!" -- Shmendrick
"There are no happy endings because nothing never ends." -- Shmendrick
Molly: "You don't care about her, you don't care about
anyone! All you care about is whether or not you'll be a great wizard."
Shmendrick: "Well, I wish I didn't care! By God, I wish I didn't
care about anything , but my magic, but I do!" -- Shmendrick to Molly Grue
Son Goku ~ DragonBall Z
Background
Goku was born on Vegeta-sei, the son of Bardock. Shortly before the planet's destruction, he was sent to Earth, to conquer it. However, due to a head injury, Goku forgot about his mission and then lived peacefully with his adoptive grandfather, Son Gohan. He lives in his grandfather's secluded mountain home until he meets Bulma, who tells him about the DragonBalls and convinces him to go with her to look for them.
Mentally...
Goku is here for one main reason: he's such a good hero...and for some reason, that really appeals to me ^_^ With all these baddies and misunderstood characters, my Harem needs a true-blue hero....one who doesn't have some horrible past, secret, etc. haunting them. That describes Son Goku perfectly. He may be kinda simple, but Goku's still very lovable...perhaps in part because of his slightly naive attitude. ^_^ There's just something about him...If some villain is threatening people, he'll do everything in his power to protect those people...even if it's at the cost of his own life. In that aspect, he's very noble.
Physically...
Even as he grows up, Goku retains his childlike facial expressions. He's rather adorable, actually ^_^ Of course, he's well-muscled, but it's his face that captivates me. And, like most of Toriyama-sensei's characters, his hair is just cool ^_^
Vocally...
I love his Japanese voice...Masako Nozawa gives him such a carefree, almost childlike voice...it fits his character perfectly ^_^
Quotes
Koola: "It
is not possible for you to defeat me!"
Goku: "Even if you know it's impossible, there are times when
you must do it anyway!" -- Goku to Metal Koola (Japanese)
